Turkey is a country of amazing architecture. Among the ancient cities, rural ruins and breathtaking mosques you can discover the historic palaces of the Sultans during your Turkey holidays. As well as the palaces and historical sites, there are the hotel palaces that will make your holidays in Turkey luxurious and comfortable.

Ishak Pasha Palace

In the east of Turkey, in the Agri province, is the Ishak Pasha Palace situated in a breath-taking elevated position. The palace is a popular destination for excursions on holidays in Turkey. Its high vantage point provides amazing views of the surrounding scenery around, with a commanding view of the plains, cliff faces and hills. This includes the majestic Mt Ararat peak in the distance.

A visit to the Ishak complex on your Turkey holidays will put you among pale orange walls, tall columns and high archways. The palace s carved stone walls are decorated with runes and ridges, and the mosque within has a high domed roof over an airy inner chamber. The palace is named after the Ottoman governor that built it between the years of 1685 and 1784

You can visit here as part of a guided tour during your holidays in Turkey.

Topkapi Palace

The Topkapi Palace is just as impressive, but it is the interiors that take your breath away more than how it looks from the outside. The palace is made up a series of halls; with each new sultan, a new room was added to the palace, enabling modern visitors on Turkey holidays to track the changes in fashions through the generations.

The halls are ornately decorated and colourful with amazing colour schemes. One of the more spectacular halls is tiled with ivory, mother of pearl and sea turtle shells, with an adjoining fountain. For a long time this palace was the location for the sultan s harem, so visitors on their holidays in Turkey can learn about the lavishness of the sultan s lifestyle. They can also see the sultan’s private bathing area.

Wandering through the courtyards and mansions within the palace walls you can see a maze of opulent buildings. In the treasury, you have the chance on your Turkey holidays to see the fourth biggest diamond in the world, which is called the Spoonmaker s Diamond. The pear shaped gem is 86 carats and more than four centimetres tall. There is also a tooth and a hair from the Prophet Mohammed and the Topkapi Dagger.

The Hotel Palaces of Istanbul

There are two quality hotels in Istanbul that go under the name palace . The Bosphorus Palace Istanbul is a luxury hotel set in a renovated Ottoman mansion. It is located beneath the Bosphorus Bridge, so holidays in Turkey here will lie on a meeting point of the Asia and European continents. The hotel has a lovely view of the city and you can take a ferry to the opposite shore. The hotel has modern services such as Internet connections and valet parking, and is proud of its high standards of service.

The Best Western Empire Palace Istanbul has a very different view. It is located in Istanbul s old town, and is close to the main attractions for Turkey holidays like the Sultan Ahmet Blue Mosque and the impressive Galata Tower. It is one of many high quality hotels you can stay in whilst on holiday in Turkey.

The Second Home Sector To People’s Desire For Well Being

We always look at the hotel/resort industry to inspire ourselves in the design of our Italian homes and I feel that it is amusing how the real estate sector, in particular the second homes one, has showed such a modest reaction to people’s appetite for joy and convenience. It is even more surprising if you consider that a second home itself offers endless opportunities to improve not only the joy of spending time there but also to create an environment inspired to joy and convenience, where it is simple to own your Italian home. Basically there is a vast number of aspects that can make your second home in Italy very enjoyable to use and very convenient to handle, or – if badly planned and poorly organized – very much less so……

I wonder why we see so few examples of second homes projects designed to match people’s appetite for well-being. Maybe changes are just very slow in a sector that has traditionally been much closer to the ordinary urban real estate development, while it should inspire itself much more to the Hotel/holiday sector.

At the end of the day your second home is a pleasure ma se non e’ buono che piacere e’? Tell me what you think!

Property in Italy is a good investment opportunity and italian property is not considered overvalued. As well as offering charm and convenience, our italian homes are designed with careful regard for sustainability (both ecological, financial and social). Each home includes a cost-effective concierge service and a rental system that allows you let your house when you do not use it, giving our homes in Italy an outstanding quality/cost ratio. Many agents promise rental returns, but we have proven we can deliver strong rental yields on our previous projects. A professional approach not only to the management itself but especially to an international letting marketing of your Italian property generates a strong opportunity to obtain substantial returns on letting. In the event a Hotel is on-site, the variety of service provided could encompass a wider range and may include the following:

* Access to facility services such as wellness spa treatments, personal trainer, baby village etc.

* Extensive preparation of your home at your arrival

* Shopping baskets upon arrival

* Daily cleaning, laundry and pressing services

* Private gardening and landscape services

* Management of linen and towels (typically available for rental properties)

* Preparation of romantic dinner at home (normally in cooperation with a local restaurant)

* Local assistance in the organization of cosmetics, coiffure, or massage appointments, local tourist site seeing, regional event ticketing, travel assistance with airlines, car rental, baby sitting services, and Italian language lessons

* Management of extra administration services, such translations, accounting services etc.

* Management of repairs, private maintenance works etc.

For the modern style homes there is a large selection of designer tiles, sanitary and taps while the window are thermally isolated triple glass….. insulating better than 50cm walls. Both style homes hide the most advanced technology behind their walls, for example the remote controlled utilities allowing you to switch the heating on/off or get your electricity consumption over the computer, or doors that open with key or code so you don’t have the trouble of passing on the keys (and this makes the management of your Home in Italy much more efficent).
